Live From Cat Tracker Productions Labor Day Video Shoot!
Here are exclusive photographs taken during the production of Cat Tracker's eagerly anticipated first video production.
Team Cat Tracker Founder, Mark Mihalakis, cleans the day's catch. Just look at the size of those fillets!

These are shots taken over Labor Day Weekend at Junnie's "Camp Cat Tracker" located 10 miles north of Winona, Minnesota on the Mississippi River (actually the place is called Bass Camp on Hwy 61 at Lock and Dam #5).  The weather was perfect!

This weekend was totally dedicated to producing our first Cat Tracker video which will be available soon on this Web site.  For months, we've been asked by fans, retailers and fishermen around the world  if there is a video demonstrating Cat Tracker products. You don't have to hit us over the head with a boat ore. We have a clue. We are producing what we hope to be the best catfishing video designed to show you how we catch catfish.

Says Mark:  "Cat Tracker is also producing a Kids & Kats video designed for young people. The objective here is simple. Cat Tracker wants to pass the joys of catfishing along to the next generation."

Ray Martelle, Dubuque, with a string of channel catfish. Ray with John McLaughlin with a stringer that yielded 48 pounds worth of fillets alone!  Among the string were two 9+ pounders. They were caught on Junnie's Cat Tracker Shrimp and Sewer baits. This September along the Mississippi in Minnesota. The sumacs are beginning to turn red as temperatures dip down to the 50s at night. These fish were caught between the hours of 7 and 10 AM fishing along rip-rap (submerged rocks) on the current side. When fishing the Mississippi, even in the backwaters, being able to read currents is vital to your success.

Left, founder and patriarch of Cat Tracker Bait Company, Junnie Mihalakis, launches his custom-built all aluminum 18 foot fishing boat. Powered by a 115-hp Evinrude outboard, the craft is a fast and stable fishing platform. Needless to say, it's trademark orange and yellow markings serve as a floating billboard for Cat Tracker Baits and Worms.

Right, Professional Guide, Denny Halgren, with the catch of the day. We managed to get this photo of this exceptional 9+ pound channel cat just before he released it back to the river.
Gary Olsen, director of the Cat Tracker Production Team, holds a nice channel cat caught during a break. See his thumb holding the jaw of his prize?  Just as this picture was taken, the fish bit down hard on his thumb. Too bad we didn't get a shot of that!
