Cat Tracker Producing Its First Kids & Kats Video!
You now have access to exclusive preview photos of the cast of the Kids & Kats Video now in production and soon to be available at this Web site. Come meet the stars!
This is Amber and Fredrick in a photograph taken the morning of their first day on the river. Our location is the Mississippi River north of Winona Minnesota. The area is a beautiful recreational environment with high bluffs on either side of the river, lazy backwater lakes and lots of catfishing possibilities. "I hope I catch a big one," says Amber filled with anticipation. "I know I'm going to land one," says Fredrick with confidence. The taping is scheduled for three days of the long Labor Day weekend in September. They will be joined by their cousins, Austin and Lisa.
In a photo taken earlier this summer while scouting new filming locations, Mandy (with a little help from dad) hoists a Tennessee blue cat she just caught, an extremely sought-after sportfish that can easily exceed this size of 8+ pounds.  Because we chose the upper Mississippi River (where blue cats are rare) for our Kids & Kats video, we will be hunting the channel cat, a sleek and speedy swimmer with enough power to snap your fishing rod with one powerful lunge.
The day's catch first time out on Saturday. The fish range in size from 2 to 6 pounds and we recall at least one fish on this stringer that exceeded 6 pounds.
Below, professional catfishing guide, Denny Halgren, with director, Gary Olsen and two of our stars (three if you count the fish) Fredrick and Amber.
