Cat Tracker Productions' first videos are in production right now. After a successful trip to "Camp Cat Tracker" north of Winona, Minnesota, we began video taping "Kids & Kats," and "How to Catch Catfish the Cat Tracker Way." These two titles are being produced simultaneously. By clicking on the following hyperlink, CAT TRACKER PRODUCTIONS, you can see some of the still photographs taken during production.

For any production to be successful, at least three things have to fall into place: You need good weather, a viable fishing environment, and a bait that works. Well, friends, we had all three working on Labor Day weekend in early September. Our videos should be available exclusively on this Web site before Christmas. It will make great wintertime viewing in anticipation of you joining the ranks of successful Cat Tracker fishing enthusiasts worldwide.

Cat Trackers Catfish Getters come complete with pole, line, swivel, sinker and hook. Just insert pole into bank of creek or river at an angle where water is rather still. Use live bait when possible like 3-5" blue gill, gold fish or large minnows.

Fan Letter of the Week!
4/5/01
I was fishing in the Diversion canal with two friends, catching some nice Channel cats when all of a sudden my rod bent over and I told my friends that a log or something had drifted into my line and was going down the canal. I did not want it to take all my line so we were going to pull up the anchors to run it down and let me get loose, when all of a sudden it started across the canal. Logs don't do this. Anyway after a hard fought battle I landed this 38 lb Flathead, Using a #6 Treble hook and Junnie's Cat Tracker Bait (sewer bait) (that's all I use, anymore as I catch enough cats with Junnie's I have no need for other baits.) Introducing Magic Additive from Cat Tracker.
You simply must check out this exciting new product designed to enhance your existing dip bait, improve and customize its characteristics. Originally developed as a thickener, we added various ingredients based on hunches we had (catfish love shad, for example, so why not include that in the additive?). Press on the Additives and you will see the entire line.

Where We're Located: We're located in the Heartland of America, Dubuque, Iowa, at the borders of Iowa, Illinois and Wisconsin. This is Mississippi River country. It's beautiful Midwestern living any time of the year. The river runs along our front door, seemingly tamed by a series of locks and dams, plus a series of old stone wing dams and rip-rap dikes, form all kinds of structure and backwater areas which teem with catfish among other species of gamefish. If you want more information about fishing arrangments as well as guide services and accommodations in our area, give us a call or e-mail Mark Mihalakis by pressing the hotlink, "Talk to Us."
